  15. With Windows NT or Windows NT Advanced Server, you can change your password
  16. in another Advanced Server domain, a Windows NT local database, or a LAN
  17. Manager domain without logging on to that domain.
  18.  
  19. To change a password in a different domain or on a remote machine, use the
  20. following procedure:
  21.  
  22. 1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL.
  23.  
  24. 2. Choose Change Password.
  25.  
  26. 3. In the From box, type the remote machine name or domain name.
  27.  
  28. 4. In the Old Password box, type your old password.
  29.  
  30. 5. Type your new password in the New Password and Confirm New
  31.    Password boxes.

  33. An information dialog box then appears confirming your password was
  34. changed.

  39. The NET PASSWORD command is not present in the version of NET.EXE included
  40. with Windows NT. Therefore, the password cannot be changed at the command
  41. line as was possible with Microsoft Windows for Workgroups and Microsoft
  42. LAN Manager.
